The photo you see here is of a Jackdaw who befriended me at my brothers house in Cornwall,I'd just been released from hospital shortly after a life threatening motorcycle accident, I think this was the turning point in my life and how I look at things. At this point I'd not set foot in a church since I was baptised at about 2 months of age. My father turned his back on all religion after the bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki,and I was then brought up as an Atheist and did not "believe"as such in anything other than I would at some point cease to be.
I went to my fisrst spiritual meeting purely out of interest after a friend asked did I fancy going to "spooks"as he called it.
So along I went as sceptical as ever and got a message from of all people ...my Dad,He was as surprised at me being there as I was of him,my nephew also came through, as did my lovely dog who I'd lost eight years before,( It's wonderful to know that he is still my constant companion as he was in life). Well that was it ,I was hooked, I have now been going regularly(when work allows),and now actually sit in circle and am developing my skills which I didn't even know I had ,(A devout Atheist for 53 years I now feel like I've come home) I drive a bus for a living but this is the biggest U turn I could ever make.
